Frank C. Miller, Jr., 91, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest. He was born January 27, 1933 in Owensboro to the late Frank C. Miller and Jacqueline Nelson Miller. Frank served in the U.S. Army and graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College with a Bachelor’s Degree. He met Ann Leonard at UK Summer School and they married in 1960. Hunting and fishing became a passion at an early age. Frank started Frank Miller and Son in 1963 and was working in the business until the age of 90 when health issues slowed him down. After his son, Chris, graduated from University of Kentucky in 1983, he joined him in the family business. Gardening was also a passion and he was applauded for his Pink Girl Tomatoes that he loved to share.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Leonard Miller.
Survivors include his son, Chris Miller (Lisa Kelley Miller); and two daughters, Elizabeth Mesquita-Miller (Carolina) and Mary Lydia Miller.
Visitation only is from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
