
NORTH PALM BEACH, FL – Alma Bernice House, 80, formerly of Olaton, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday morning, June 5, 2024 under the loving care of Trustbridge Hospice Palm Beach. She was born April 10, 1944 in Irvine, Kentucky and was the second of two children to David Price Rawlins and Alma Banks Rawlins. Bernice went to Irvine High School and met the love of her life, Jackie House. They raised a family of three children in Olaton, KY.
Bernice and her family moved to Florida after the birth of their first grandchild and have lived in North Palm Beach for 25 years. During this time, she worked as an assistant teacher at local elementary schools with special needs children. She loved her grandchildren, never missing an opportunity to celebrate a birthday or travel across the country to be with them. She loved fashion and never left the house not looking her very best.
Bernice is predeceased in death by her husband, Jackie House and is survived by their daughter, Teresa O’Keefe (Rick) of North Palm Beach, son David House (Kim) of Palm Beach Gardens, and daughter Cindy Vincent (Bill) of Owensboro, KY, and grandchildren Riley, Carson, Faith, and Grace. She is also survived by her brother, Price and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky on July 6th, 2024, from 10:00am-2:00pm with the memorial service following and Chad Patterson presiding. A burial will follow in Rosine cemetery.
