Emma Crowl Walker, 66, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born September 12, 1952 in El Paso, TX to the late Charles “Charlie” Albert and Ruth Louise McNeil Crowl. Emma graduated from Ruth’s Beauty School in Maryland with a degree in cosmetology and spent many years as a hairdresser, even cutting hair at the Pentagon. She enjoyed reading, watching the Hallmark Channel on TV and going out to eat with her friends and family. Emma also loved to spend time with her family and going on family vacations with them.
She was also preceded in death by a nephew, Glenn F. Crowl Jr.
Emma is survived by her son, Matthew Little (Stephanie) of Evansville, IN; a sister, Verna “Trudy” Bozarth (Eddie) of Calhoun, KY; brothers, Charles Donald Crowl (Patti) of Aberdeen, MD and Glenn Frederick Crowl of Sacramento, CA; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life memorial visitation time for Emma Crowl Walker will be from 4-6 PM Saturday April 6, 2019 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
