Ann Rita Wink

Ann Rita Reisz Wink, 95 of Browns Valley, Kentucky passed away Friday, March 29, 2019, at her home. She was born in Rome, Kentucky on July 6, 1923, the oldest daughter of the late Joseph Anselm Reisz and Theresa Frances Simon Reisz. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1941, and worked at General Electric in Owensboro, retiring in 1983 after 42 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Anthony Wink; brothers Simon Daniel, Joseph Anselm and Paul Albert Reisz; and her sister Mary Catherine Reisz Thompson.

She is survived by her sister Frances Theresa Reisz Drury of Santa Claus, Indiana; and a sister-in-law, Eva Jean Settles Reisz of Cleveland, Tennessee; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral mass will be at 9 am Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Browns Valley, Kentucky. Burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Passionist Nuns, 8564 Crisp Road, Whitesville, Kentucky. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
