Harold Eugene Brown, 72, of Evansville died Thursday, March 28 ,2019 at Linda White Hospice House. Gene was born in Owensboro on June 18, 1946 to the late Robert Charles Brown and Josephine Murphy Brown. He was employed at TJ Maxx Distribution Center. Gene was a UK fan and enjoyed working on cars, especially a ’57 Chevy. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Debbie Darlene Brown; a daughter, Michelle Lynn Hays (Duane Nicholson); a son, Bobby Brown (Kellie Cecil); four grandchildren, Allie Johnston (Dane), Kailyn Emerson (Austin), Josh Brown, and Tesla Brown; two brothers, Robert Charles Brown (Joyce), and Johnny Brown (Mildred); several nieces; and his furry friend, Gracie Lynn.
Services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at James H Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Entombment will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
