On June 9th, 2024, Linda Louise Embry, 65, of Owensboro, was escorted by Heaven’s angels to be with the Lord while at home with loved ones after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed many years homemaking and homeschooling her three beloved sons. She was a devoted employee at Kimberly Clark until her retirement. Linda loved gardening, reading, bird-watching, eating delicious chocolates, but loved nothing more than spending time with her loving family.
She was born December 26, 1958 in Owensboro, to John C Rogers, Jr. and Billie Stinogel Rogers.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, John C Rogers Jr. and brother, Alan Rogers.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her children Luke Embry (Leslie Fulkerson Embry), Seth Embry (Leslie) and Mark Embry; her grandchildren Olivia, Cole, Andrea, and Gabby; her mother, Billie Rogers; and siblings John Rogers III, Bob Rogers (Gaye), Tom Rogers, Trish Baggerly (Danny) Mary Sucin, Donna Jackson (Craig) and Kay Rogers along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private ceremony at James H Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
