Phyllis Durbin 75, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Heartford House in Owensboro. Phyllis Ann Dame was born November 29, 1948 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Leslie J. ‘L.J.’ and Joyce Story Dame. Phyllis retired from Lowe’s in Owensboro. She enjoyed spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Phyllis is survived by a son, Travis Durbin (Julia) of Wentzville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Alyssia Pennington, Joshua Keith (Venecia), and Matthew Keith; three great grandchildren, Jayden Pennington, Jayce Pennington, and Annaleah Pennington; a sister, Becky Lutton (Rick) of Medina, Ohio; and two nieces, Amy Sullivan (Tom) and Amber Tripphahn (Nicholas).
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Pleasant Hope Cemetery in McLean County. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Phyllis’ family.
