Tommy Conrad 73, of Beech Grove, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 at a sister’s home near Calhoun. Thomas Alex Conrad, Jr. was born September 26, 1950 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Thomas Alex ‘Bully’ and Lois Earl Jennings Conrad, was married to the former Beth Michelle Bichner on June 15, 2002 and was better known as ‘Tommy’ to both his family and friends.
Tommy was currently a diesel mechanic with Zach’s Repair in Calhoun and had earlier worked as a logger. He was a member of Beulah General Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran. Tommy was a long-time volunteer at Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed spending time with both his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Denise Conrad.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Beth Conrad; two sons, T.J. Conrad (Melanie) of Calhoun and Patrick Bichner of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; four daughters, Madison Myers (Elijah) of Nebo, Cassie Campbell (Trason), Michelle Bichner both of Owensboro, and Amy Pitt of Madisonville; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Brett Conrad (Crystal) of Calhoun; three sisters, Nona Cobb (Cammie), Darlene Woosley (Mike) both of Calhoun, and Melinda Huckleberry (Huck) of Buttonsberry.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Conrad Hills Cemetery in McLean County. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Tommy’s family.
