Donald “Spankey” Eugene Spainhoward, 64, of Henderson, passed away May 22, 2024. He was born January 27, 1960, to parents John and Francile Spainhoward. Donald was a simple man who loved his family, dogs, fishing, and helping people around him – in his own way.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, John and Francile, and brothers, Johnny, Steve, and Terry Spainhoward.
Left to cherish his memories is his siblings, Roy (Angie) Spainhoward, Mary Susan Spainhoward, Jerry (Lisa) Spainhoward, Tony (Barbara) Spainhoward, and Paul (Lealda) Spainhoward; significant other of 16 years, Susan Kellough; caregivers, Ernie and Toni Lingerfelt; fur babies, BooBoo and Sissy; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Warehouse of Worship, 652 Short 7th Street, Henderson, KY 42420. Service will begin at 12 p.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m. until the time of service. Following the service, the family invites friends to join them for a bereavement meal.
