Roger Dale Crabtree, 78, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born February 19, 1946 in Daviess County to the late Lewis and Mollie Minton Crabtree. Roger worked for Whitehall Furniture for 40 years. He enjoyed golf, horse racing, NASCAR and Owensboro Youth Hockey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Rudy Crabtree, David Crabtree, Melinda Norris, and Spencer Crabtree.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda Fitzgerald Crabtree; son, Dale Crabtree (Amy); two grandchildren, Caitlyn Brooke Crabtree and Lance Tyler Crabtree; and a brother, Eugene Crabtree.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions may take the form of donations to the Owensboro Youth Hockey Ice Foundation.
