Sandra Kay Fenwick, 77, of Owensboro, passed away April 29, 2024, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born March 23, 1947, in Daviess County to the late Carl and Ada Jackson Thompson.
Sandra enjoyed reading, cooking, and most of all her grandkids. She was always supportive and compassionate. Sandra became a caregiver in her later years, where she was able to spread her loving nature. One of her favorite holidays was Thanksgiving. She always appreciated the time spent with her family.
Along with her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Fenwick, and her sister, Barbara Higdon.
She is survived by her children, Les (Carrie) Fenwick and Judy (Billy) Mills; grandchildren, Nathan Blandford, Taylor Fenwick (Jared Huehls), Hannah Mills, Tyler (Lexie) Mills, and Langston Fenwick; great-grandchild, Gavin Kirby; and sister, Charlotte Ann (Jerry) Moore.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the funeral home.
