Patty Wright Smith, 78, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024. She was born in Owensboro to the late Stanley and Emogene Cook Wright. She was a 1964 graduate of Owensboro High School. Patty was devoted to her family and home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Billy J. Smith, her parents, and her sister Mamie L. Mason.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Smith, her sisters Mary F. Hall and Doris E. Sapp, and many nieces and nephews.
Per her request, there will no public visitation or service.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
