James Keith Savage

CENTRAL CITY – James Keith Savage, 62, of Central City was born on December 1, 1961 in Muhlenberg County. He passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 8:27PM at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville with his daughter beside him holding his hands. His parents were Jack and Betty Savage Thomasson both who have passed away. Keith was one of a kind. He would give you the shirt off his back and would help anyone at any time. He loved his kids, Andrew and Casey, and his grandkids, Drew, Troy, Vada more than life itself. He worked in the oil fields and worked for Case Brothers Logging for years as a Skidder Driver. He loved to work on cars or anything with a motor. He loved tinkering in his garage with his grandsons. He loved deer hunting and rabbit hunting. He could make the best peanut butter fudge from scratch that you would never forget how good it was. He could tell some tall tales, and he had a heart of gold. But his love of spending time with his grandkids topped everything. They were his pride and joy. He loved to laugh and have good time with his friends. If he was your friend, he was a friend for life. He is preceded in death by his son, Andrew Savage; step-brother, Scotty Thomasson; his parents, Jack, and Betty Savage (Burden Thomasson); and his grandparents, Sonny Sr., and Pansey Burden.

He is survived by his daughter, Casey Jean Humphrey and son-in-law, Nathan. His sister, Kathy Jones of Bremen; his grandkids, Drew, Troy, Vada; step-sister, Cindy Thomasson Wagoner; step-father, Jerry Thomasson; several nieces; several friends who loved him for just who he was for over 40 years, and his dog, Rocky who was his best buddy.

He also had a stepson, Dusty Campbell; step-daughter, Amy Campbell; and half-brother, Joe Savage of Nixon, MO. He will be greatly missed and loved always and forever, no more pain only happiness and joy until we all meet again.
