GREENVILLE, KY., Opal Lee Woodruff, 85, of Greenville passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Bremen on November 22, 1938 the daughter of Ecklas Harper and Plinie Cobb Harper. She was a homemaker and a member of New Paradise Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Ray Woodruff, her parents, and 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by 1 son James (Jennie) Woodruff of Greenville, 1 daughter Kim (Tony) Amos of Pleasant View, TN., 3 grandchildren Dustin Amos, Brandon Amos, and Jordan Fulkerson, 2 sisters Connie Cornette of Cocoa, FL. And Ruth (Bobby) Rust of Rosewood, 1 brother Ray (Dora Lee) Harper of Bremen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM (time of funeral) at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, conducted by Rev. Tim Adcock, assisted by Rev. Roger Heltsley. A private burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.
