Mark Scott Howard, 60, of Owensboro went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2024. He was born on May 5, 1963, to Albert Dayne Howard and Patricia Ann Kanable in Owensboro. Mark enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether he was fishing or riding a motorcycle. He liked to work with his hands and building anything he could come up with. Mark was a firm believer in his Lord and Savior and led his life by finding the good in any situation. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Patricia; stepfather, Charles Morris Kanable; brother, Michael Dayne Howard; sister, Krissy Dawn Howard; and brother-in-law, Joseph Cardwell.
Left to cherish his memory is his sons, Jeremy (Marret) Howard, Caleb (Samantha) Howard, and Brandon (Shaina) Clark; siblings, Todd (Melissa) Howard and Janet Cardwell; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Mark.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mark’s honor can be made to Saint Joseph and Paul Catholic Church, 609 East 4th Street, Owensboro, KY 42301.
