Wallace B. Hamilton, 87, of Owensboro passed away on April 13, 2024. He was born August 19, 1936, in Daviess County, to the late Claude Ellis and Lola Bell Anderson Hamilton. Wallace is a Marine Corps veteran. He was of the Catholic faith and attended Immaculate Parish.
Along with his parents, Wallace was preceded in death by his siblings, Lewis (Joann) Hamilton, Ragel (Bonnie) Hamilton, Ellis (Nancy)
Hamilton, Monroe Hamilton, James Hamilton, and Erman Hamilton.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Henderson Hamilton; children, Heath (Stacy) Hamilton, Jane Hamilton, and Rick Hamilton; grandchildren, Ryan Manning, Dakota Hamilton, and Kylar Hamilton; siblings, Frankie (Ellen) Hamilton, Sue (Larry) Rohrscheib, Linda (John) Howard, Claude (Janice) Hamilton, and Gene (Brenda) Hamilton; and sisters-in-law, Lee Hamilton, Debbie Hamilton, and Barbara Hamilton.
Services will be 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Entombment will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
