Henry C. Mattingly, 66 of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 12, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Courtney and his father, Charles Mattingly; his brothers, Thomas Mattingly and Harold Mattingly; sister, Margie Anders and three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Justin, and Xavier Harris.
Henry loved to spend time with his family and all of his grandchildren, they were his whole world. He loved playing poker with all his poker buddies. He loved the Lord and was saved and gave his heart to God. He was an amazing man who would do anything for anyone.
He is survived by his significant other, Judy Gasaway; daughters, Jessica Gasaway and Melissa Allgood (Herbie); mother, Mary Courtney; sister, Dorann Mattingly; brothers, Charles “Bobby” Mattingly, Ralph Mattingly, and Danny Mattingly; grandchildren, Amber Mattingly, Kara Allgood, Beth Fuqua, Jayden Fuqua, Mia Sheets, and Isabella Sheets; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn, Jordan, and Hayden; his good friend, Connie Estes; along with several nieces and nephews.
Services are pending at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.
