Donald Lee Allender, 77, of Santa Claus, passed away on April 4, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on November 14, 1946, in Bloomington, Indiana to the late Richard Allender and Christine Dempsy Allender. Donald served the Brown County Sheriff’s Department as a sheriff’s deputy for many years and later retired from D & R Roofing in Santa Claus, Indiana.
Donald enjoyed all things drag racing, muscle cars, and motorcycles. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family.
Along with his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his siblings, Diane and Sandy.
Donald is survived by his children, Scott (Jill) Logsdon, Chris (Tisha) Allender, Craig (Fiancé, Tammy) Allender, Todd Allender, and Shawn (Amber) Allender; grandchildren, Jasmine Siniawski, Madie Allender, Ben Allender, Josie Allender, Derek Allender, Michael Allender, Audrey Allender, Millie Allender, and Sydney Logsdon; great-grandchildren, Roman Allender and Sophia Allender; and brother, Richard.
