Jacquelyn Ann Chapman, 72, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born November 10, 1951 in Flora, Illinois to the late John Carl “Jack” Haub and Alverda Ford Haub. Jacquelyn was a retired teacher for the Daviess County Public Schools. She was a Honor Graduate from Murray State University where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Jackie was a member of Panther Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ray Chapman; and a grandson, Jordan Sumner.
Survivors include three daughters, Lori Coomes (Jeff), Melinda Hughes (Charles), and Kelli Conway (Mike); and seven grandchildren, Mason Coomes, Ethan Coomes, Blake Sumner, Emma Hughes, Jaelyn Conway, Kenley Grant and Jack Conway.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation is from noon until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date in Fordsville Cemetery.
