Ouida Macafee Pruden, 96, of Owensboro, passed away March 29, 2024, at the Heartford House under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. She was born to John and Willie Macafee on March 11, 1928, in Dyersburg, TN. Ouida was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and quilting.
Ouida is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Pruden, as well as her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pam (Sam) Cooper, Marilyn (Mark) Klinkachek, Carilyn Breeden, Emmy (Jeff) Coke, and Mary Lou (Craig) Pruden; grandchildren, Melanie and Cody Phillips, Jenny Cooper, Chris and Katie Blandford, Greg and Ryan Blandford, Casey (Whit) Grossman, Joe and Abby Klinkachek, Evan Klinkachek, and Leah and Christian Hale; as well as 12 great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
