Cornelia B. Moseley, 100, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Daviess County native was born December 14, 1923, as one of eight children to the late Joseph and Margaret Wink Boehm. Cornelia graduated high school from Saint Joseph Academy. She was employed by G.E. at the tube plant and retired from there after 24 years. Cornelia was gifted in all kinds of crafting, especially crotchet and quilting. She would crotchet blankets and donate them to Birthright and was a member of the Quilters Guild. Cornelia loved UK basketball and avid reader. She and her husband enjoyed dancing where she was given the nickname “Twinkles”.
In addition to her parents, Cornelia also was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Moseley in 2022; two grandchildren, Ryan Lee Arnold and Billy Joe Moseley; all of her siblings, Pauline Hamilton, Agnes Moseley, Lucille Rose, Helen Guenthner, Clarence, James, and Eugene Boehm.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three children, Judy Arnold, Becky Phillips, Joe Moseley (Terry); eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral Mass will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 2 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 until 7:00 pm with prayers at 6:30 pm and Tuesday from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
