Emma Gayle Howard Green, 64, of Owensboro passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Heartford House. She was born on July 24, 1959 to the late Gerald Leo and Brenda Joyce Tapp Howard. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Howard.
Emma is survived by her children, Brad (Kristy) Green and Kevin (Gina) Green; grandchildren, Gatlin, Macie, Kara, Serenity, Zander and Hunter; great-grandchild, Kyler; a brother, James “Jaime” Howard and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathen’s Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
A funeral service will be Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Cecil Funeral Home, with burial following at the Howard Family Cemetery in Whitesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville, KY.
