Marjorie Marie Dubree, age 81 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away March 22, 2024 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on December 31, 1942, daughter of the late Ivan Rudolph and Bernice Marie Haynes Smoot. Margie, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was a member of Hardinsburg United Methodist Church. She was a retired floral designer and enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques and yard work. She was devoted to her family and loved them beyond measure. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas and you could find her shopping on December 26 for the next year. Margie was a simple lady with a huge heart and bigger smile.

13 great grandchildren: Tucker, Dawson, Knox, Kayleigh, Mary Ann, Carlie, Aubrey, Jack, Nash, Colt, Ruby, Maddie and Casen
1 brother: Kenny Smoot (Mae) of Bloomington, IN
Funeral services will be held at the Hardinsburg United Methodist Church on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 11 AM with burial in the Ivy Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Sunday, 3 – 7 PM and Monday, 8 – 10:30 AM.
