Carol Sue Mullen Settles, 73, of Owensboro, passed away March 20, 2024. She was born April 4, 1950, in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Paul and Beulah Baker Mullen. Carol was a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church.
Carol enjoyed making blankets for her grandkids and she loved flowers, especially roses.
Along with her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her daughter, Darla Rose Andrews, and seven siblings.
Carol is survived by her husband, Joseph “Charlie” Settles; stepdaughter, Carmilla “Carmi” McDaniel; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Jaycee) McDaniel, Cameron (Ashley) McDaniel, Trevor McDaniel, and Xavier Andrews; great-grandchildren, Declan McDaniel and Emily Paige McDaniel; siblings, Martha White, Larry (Gail) Mullen, Steven Mullen; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
