Suzanne “Suzie Q” Marie Basham, 67, of Owensboro, passed away March 18, 2024. She was born May 24, 1956, in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Elizabeth Ann Millay Basham and William Ralph Basham, Sr. Suzanne worked in housekeeping at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and was a friend to everyone that she met there.
Suzanne enjoyed watching movies, UK basketball, and spending time sitting on her back porch with her family.
Along with her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by her 2 brothers-in-law, Ronnie Osborne and Danny Durbin.
She is survived by her brother, Wm. Ralph (Judy) Basham; sisters, Donna Osborne and Barbara Durbin; nieces and nephews, Bill Basham, Tracey Black, Paige Pinson, Debbie Fulkerson, Craig Basham, Heather Hagan, and Wayne Durbin; several great-nieces and nephews; and many great-great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
