Lisa Gale Charles, 54, of Whitesville, passed away peacefully at her home on March 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Eddie Luellen and Shilah Faith on October 18, 1969, in Daviess County. Lisa was a true homemaker that loved her family fiercely and enjoyed her precious moments with her grandchildren. She loved anything to do with the beach, sun, and saltwater. If she couldn’t be at the beach, then her home garden and bird visitors were tended to with care.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 37 years, J.D. Charles; children, Michelle (Michael) Hixson, Michael (Jennifer) Charles, and Elizabeth (Thomas) Bland; and grandchildren, Cora, Marek, Austin, Emma, Liam, and Benjamin.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 30, 2024, at Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2208 Tamarack Rd Owensboro, KY 42301, at 2 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1 p.m.
