Marion Wayne Norris, 81, of Reynolds Station passed away on March 13, 2024, at the Heartford House in Owensboro. Wayne was born on May 8, 1942 to the late Allen Ray and Etoy Midkiff Norris. He retired from Weyerhaeuser as a supervisor after over 30 years of service. Wayne enjoyed hunting, traveling out west, working on his Cushmans and spending time with his family. He was a member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Melinda, a son, Dewayne Norris and a brother, Orion Ray Norris.
Wayne is survived by his children, Thomas Norris, Allen (Rachael) Norris, John Douglas Norris and Vickie (David) Willis; grandchildren, Kendall Norris and Chris Richards; great grandchild, Saryna Richards and a brother George (Thelma) Norris.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville Ky, with burial following at Cates Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday March 18, from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m.
