CENTERTOWN-Charlene Ford Maddox, 77, of Centertown died Friday, March 8, 2024 at University of Louisville. Charlene was born in Ohio County to the late Charles E. and Grace Lucille Moore Ford. She was a retired Deputy Clerk with the Ohio County Circuit Clerks Office. Charlene was preceded in death by her husband Richard Maddox and her son-in-law Jamie Via.
Survivors include her son, Kurt DeWayne Maddox of Chander, Arizona; her daughter, Melody Via of Shepardsville, Kentucky; 2 grandchildren, Kim Maddox and Grace West; 3 great grandchildren, Elle Maddox West, Brianne West, Bradly West; 7 sisters-Beverly Richardson, Gaynell Allen, Janice Clinard, Phyllis Baize, Ruth Bullock, Donna Porter, Linda Warren; her brother, Leonard Ford; her sister-in-law, Vale Rhea Maddox
A memorial service for Charlene and Ricky Maddox will be 10AM Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Kurt DeWayne Maddox officiating. The Family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Kentucky Trust For Life. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
