William Shane Booker, 45, of Owensboro passed away on March 2, 2024 in Kansas City, Missouri. Shane was born on July 29, 1978 in Daviess County to Steve and Janetta Morris Booker. He loved rabbit hunting, catfishing, the NFL, The Kentucky Wildcats and family gatherings.
Shane is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents. JoNell and Billy Booker, infant sons William Jett and William.
Shane is survived by his parents; children, Chloe and Bodhi Booker and Emmi and Tristan Harper; siblings, Melanie (Kerry Overfelt) Booker of Bardstown, Josh (Lyndsey) Booker of Owensboro, Jason (Genise) Booker of Evansville and Sara Booker of Owensboro; grandparents, John “Stub” and Mary “Hootie” Morris of Whitesville; nieces and nephews, Luci, Sophia, Jayla, Max, Joci, Owen and Keller and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville, KY. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 10 from 2:00 p.m. to the time of service.
