Danny Stuart Layne, 65, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at his home. He was born August 11, 1958 to the late Pappy Layne and Marcella Laxton Layne. Danny graduated from Owensboro High School in 1975. He was a boat mechanic and jack of all trades his entire life. Recently, he was employed at Vanguard Meter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two older brothers, Bobby and Randy Layne.
He is survived by his two sisters, Dianne Howard (Bruce) and Sandra Stevens (Dennis); and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services. James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
