Frances “Bunny” Hardin, age 73 of Kingswood, KY passed away March 6, 2024 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on February 19, 1951, daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Clark Henning. Bunny retired from the Breckinridge County Board of Education after many years working as a family service coordinator. She was a member of Kingswood Wesleyan Church. Bunny enjoyed reading, flower gardening, working crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She was a giver of her time, a best friend to many fortunate people, did not judge others and always found the good in them. She always greeted you with a smile and was “Miss Helping Hand”. She was described as an “Angel on earth” and if you had the pleasure of knowing her, you saw her wings and halo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Hardin, brothers Danny Henning and Fibby Henning.
Bunny is survived by 2 children: Jackie Hill (Jonathan) of Kingswood, KY and Justin Hardin (Amy) of Locust Hill, KY
2 grandsons – Easton Hill and Max Hardin
1 brother: Jody Henning (Sue) of Lexington, KY
1 sister: Butchie Brumfield (Scott) of Hardinsburg, KY
Many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2 PM with burial in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Saturday.
