Larry Allen Sutherland, 67, of Owensboro passed away on March 3, 2024, at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born to William Allen and Dorothy Irene Sutherland on February 20, 1957, in Daviess County. Larry was a skilled and creative man that enjoyed restoring furniture, gardening, and welding. He served in the United States Marine Corps. A jokester at heart, he loved putting a smile on people’s faces.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Ella; father, William; stepdaughter, Rose Marie Gibbs; and sister, Alice Perales.
Left to cherish his memory is his children, Cindy Willett (Craig), Catherine Reed (David); siblings, Connie Gaskill, John Sutherland, and Janice Sutherland; grandchildren, Cody Troutman, Tristan Troutman, Chase Finley, Cayden Finley, Victoria Pruden, Heather Ambs, David Tryon, and Suzie Kapua; great grandchildren, Moraylee, Delilah Jo, Hudson, Beau, and Tressa; good friend, Ramon Perales; as well as several other family and friends.
Services will be private with care entrusted to Cardinal Cremation Society.
