Vicki Darlene Toler Burden, 75, of Owensboro, left this life to be with our savior on March 2, 2024. She was born February 27, 1949 to the late Robert and Cora Mae Toler of Hancock County. Vicki was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. She retired from Academy of Learning and spent her career in child care services. Vicki was a devoted UK basketball fan. Her life was her family and her children. She loved spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher T. Burden.
She is survived by her husband, David K. Burden, whom she traveled with during his years in the military; sons, David M. Burden and Daniel L. Burden; grandchildren, Zachariah Michael Burden, Eric Logan Clark, Abigail Paige Burden, Kylie Nicole Burden, Dominic Lee Burden, and Cole Alexander Burden; two great-grandchildren, Denver Logan Clark and Harper Kate Clark; and a brother, David T. Toler.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
