Chuck Fulton

Chuck Fulton 43, of Livermore, Kentucky passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Charles Darrell Fulton, III was born May 3, 1980 in Akron, Ohio and was better known as ‘Chuck’ to both his family and friends. On June 10, 2006, he married his soulmate, the former Kelly Christina Deason, a union that was blessed with laughter, shared dreams, and unwavering support for each other. Chuck was a beloved husband, father, mentor, and friend whose vibrant spirit and generous heart touched the lives of many.

Chuck moved to Livermore, where he built a life rich with love, community service, and dedication. His professional life was marked by his role as a diligent commercial operator for Ryder Transportation in Owensboro, where he was respected for his work ethic and camaraderie.

A man of deep faith, Chuck was an active member of Christ Gospel Church of Owensboro. He served the church in various capacities, including as a board member, youth pastor, and prayer leader. His commitment to his faith and the church community was an inspiration to all who knew him, and his legacy of service will continue to be felt for years to come.

In addition to his spiritual contributions, Chuck was passionate about nurturing young minds and bodies. He took great pride in serving as an assistant boys’ basketball coach at Valor Christian Academy in Owensboro. His mentorship extended beyond the court, as he provided guidance and support to countless young individuals, helping them to grow in character and skill.

Chuck’s zest for life was evident in his many hobbies and interests. An avid sports fan, he was particularly devoted to the University of Louisville, cheering on his team with an enthusiasm that was infectious. His love for the outdoors was palpable, and he found peace and joy in fishing, often sharing this pastime with friends and family.

Online gaming was another of Chuck’s favorite pastimes, where he could be found playing Apex with “ALL of his boys.” These virtual adventures provided not only entertainment but also a way to connect and share laughs with loved ones, regardless of the distance between them.

Family meant everything to Chuck, he enjoyed spending time with Emma, his ‘little squirrel’ and he wore the title of ‘Uncle Chuckie’ with immense pride. All of the kids in his life knew they could count on him for a laugh, a hug, or a word of encouragement. His adventurous spirit led him to take his family on excursions in his Jeep, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Beeler Halverson.
