Michael Bennett, 61, peacefully passed away on February 29th, 2024. He was born on June 6th, 1962, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Linda Adams Haire and late Terry Bennett.
Mike cherished the simple joys of life, especially relishing trips to the beach and spending quality time with his friends and family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Bennett, in 1989, and stepfather, Jerry Haire, in 2018.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Melissa Carwile (Daniel) and Jennifer Bennett (William), as well as his granddaughters, Lexi, Chelsey, Kaylee, Courtney, and Aliyah. He is also survived by his brother, Ty Bennett (Sherry), and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In accordance with Michael’s wishes, there will be no visitations or services held. His family will privately honor his memory in a burial beside his Mother Linda Haire.
Mike’s family would like to express their deepest thanks and gratitude to all nurses, doctors, staff, and facilities who played a role in his care during his journey.
