Pamela Jo McKinney, 68, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 16, 2024 at her home. She was born March 31, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John Hagan and Mary Price Hagan. Pam retired from the Ohio County Board of Education where she spent many years at Wayland Elementary School. She was a dedicated member of Hope Wesleyan Church and very active with Ohio County Special Olympics.
Aside from her parents she was a preceded in death by five siblings, Beverly, Barb, JoAnn, Debbie, and Jim.
Pam leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of twenty-six years, Mark McKinney; four children, Shane (Amanda) Bennett of Hartford, Hannah (Brandon) Geary of Horse Branch, Savanah (Chris) Bradley of Centertown, and Josh (Jessica) McKinney of Hartford; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and one brother, Rob Hagan.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Hope Wesleyan Church (308 Liberty Street, Hartford, KY 42347) with Pastor Mark Hatfield officiating. Friends may visit with Pam’s family from 12 PM until the time of the service Saturday at the church.
