Helen “Ann” Staples, 77, of Owensboro, passed away February 14, 2024. She was born July 26, 1946, to the late Marvin and Beulah Ward Holder. Ann married Joseph Staples on November 18, 1972, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed listening to Joseph play the guitar and spending time with friends. Ann also loved animals. She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, Marvin Holder, Jr. and Herman Holder, and sister, Mary Holder.
Ann is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be noon Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with prayers at 4:00 p.m.
