Line dancing was another of her favorite activities, and she could often be found kicking up her heels to the rhythm of the music. Louise was also an avid lover of the outdoors, especially boating and fishing on the beautiful Green River, which brought her much tranquility and happiness.

A devout member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Calhoun, Louise was deeply involved in her faith community. She was an active member of the Sisters of the Heart, where she shared her love and compassion with others. Louise also dedicated her time as a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul in Owensboro, giving back to those in need with the same generosity she extended to her family and friends.

Louise will be remembered for her radiant smile, her infectious laughter, and her kind-hearted nature. Her legacy of love and dedication to her family and community will live on through the many lives she touched. Louise has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents and two husbands, Louise was preceded in death by her companion, Mike Holland; a daughter, Michelle Cooper; a great grandson, Garrett Powell; a brother, Doug Durbin; and by a sister, Patsy Hardin.
