Reva Roach Rudd, 93, of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at her home. She was born June 11, 1930 in Ohio County to the late Mack and Hattie McKinley Roach. Reva worked at General Electric for almost 40 years and was a long time member of Hall Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch and going to garage sales.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Russell Lee Rudd.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca (Lindy) Whitehead; son, Ricky (Misty) Rudd all of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Crystal (Brian) Richards, Jana Russelburg (Cody), Kaylee Burton (Jacob), Carson Rudd (Brooke), and Camden Rudd; great-grandchildren and joys of her life, Reese, Molly, McKinley, Beau, Peyton, Mac, and two on the way; sister, Monnie Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
The family is thankful for her caregivers Misty, Angel, Renee and Betty; neighbors, Johanna, Julie, Cindy, Melissa, Madison, and Chuck; and Dr. McCoy and staff.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
