GREENVILLE, KY., Mary Elizabeth Shemwell Beierlein, 78, of Greenville passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Maple Health in Greenville. She was born in Beech Creek, KY on August 10, 1945 the daughter of Clarice Shemwell. She was a nurse and worked at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital and at Sparks Nursing Home in Central City.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Bud Beierlein in 2002 and her mother.
She is survived by her family Gerri McIntosh, Dan Wakeland, Greg Dietrich, and Kristy McIntosh Johnson all of Greenville, nephews Grayson, Colton, Cooper, and Grant Dietrich.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Bro. Tim Adcock officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
