
Bradley Edward Gough, 56, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born May 22, 1967 in Owensboro to the late Carolyn McLean Boarman. Brad was a follower of Christ. He was a 1985 graduate of Hancock County High School where he was a member of the band, cross country and tennis teams. He attended Western Kentucky University and University of Kentucky. Brad worked at River Valley Behavioral Health, Wendell Foster Center, and Ragu Foods. He was an avid sports fan and loved to watch any kind of sport. He was a lifelong fan of LSU football, UK basketball, and Detroit Tigers baseball. His hobbies included golf, fishing and pool and his greatest talent was his gift for playing the drums. He served many years on the Praise and Worship teams at Good Shepherd Church and BridgePointe Church. Brad loved all animals, especially his beloved dog, Monk. But most of all, he was a devoted father to his daughter, McKenna, and always insisted she have the best he could provide.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Gough; mother, Carolyn Boarman; stepdad, Jim Boarman; sister, Amy Boarman; grandparents, Margaret Griffin McLean and Joseph and Anice Gough.
Survivors include his daughter, McKenna Gail Gough; sisters, Meredith Baxter (Shane) and Molly Boarman; aunt, Joy Beth McLean Emerson; uncle, Dan Griffin McLean; nephews, Ethan and Garrett Baxter; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Lewisport Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
