Betty Jo Spinks, 76, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born May 12, 1947 in Daviess County to the late Lucian and Bertha Jane Shelton Bristow. Betty Jo worked as a hairdresser at Mr. Jim’s Salon. and attended Eaton Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Spinks.
Survivors include cousins, John Shelton (Lou) and Joyce W.; and a special friend, April Leonard.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Rosehill Cemetery Chapel. Visitation is from 9:30 to 12:30 p.m. on Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
