Amy Renee’ Onstott Bailey, 54, of Philpot, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at her home. She was born July 12, 1969 in Daviess County to Charles and Linda Alvey Onstott. Amy retired from the Daviess County School Board where she worked as a bus and lunchroom monitor. She worked as a pharmacy technician at Rite Aid and Poole’s Pharmacy. She was a member of Hartford Baptist Church. Amy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing softball. But most of all, she loved her kids and family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Iverson “Bear” and Mary “Billie” Onstott and Durwood and Louise Alvey.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Keith Bailey; son, Jonathan Bailey; daughter, Chelsea Bailey; parents, Charles and Linda Onstott; brother, Shane Onstott (Shannon); niece, Maci Jo Onstott; and a nephew, Justin Onstott-Davis.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Hartford Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the church.
