Veatrice Ann Baker, 82, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation. She was born February 19, 1941 in Calhoun to the late Rev. William “Bill” and Alma Story Tucker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Baker and a brother, Edwin “Tuck” Tucker.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Anthony Baker (Letitia) and Aric Scott Baker (Amy); grandchildren, Keyes Baker (Amber), Sarah Andriakos (Ben), Ryan Baker (McKenzie), Ashley DeSouza (James), and Alexis Baker; step-grandchildren, Natalie Miller (Steven), Corie Soto, and Wade Hodges (Tori); and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from noon until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
