Robert ‘Bobby’ Eugene Alvey, II, 65, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. He was born on December 22, 1958, in Owensboro to the late Robert Eugene Alvey and Emogene Boring Alvey.
Bobby enjoyed playing pool and fishing. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends. Bobby was always a hard worker and loved his family fiercely.
Along with his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Alvey; sister, Eva Graham; grandson, Aaron Michael Aull, Jr.; and stepmom, Barb Alvey.
Bobby is survived by his children, Brandy (Skyler) Ray, Robert ‘Bobby’ Alvey, III, Amanda Bittel, and Brandon Baker, all of Owensboro; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ashlynn, Andrew, and Kaylie; one great-grandchild on the way; and siblings, Drew Alvey, Debbie Alvey Rohrer, and Shelia Phillips.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
