Taeron Jerrious Legg, 19, of Owensboro, passed away on January 12, 2024. He was born on April 14, 2004, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Marilyn L. Hagan and Gary D. Legg.
Taeron was a joker by nature who loved his daughter more than anything. Taeron spent his free time rapping, playing basketball, fishing, and playing Apex on Xbox.
Taeron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Hagan, Mary Hagan, Lewis Edward Legg, and Juanita Bunton; his aunt, Gwen Clack; his uncles, Grant Gamble and Charles McFarland; and his best friend, Corban Henry.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Emoniey Marie JaShay Legg; the mother of his child, Ta’Mika R. Yanez; his siblings, JoVante Hagan, DeShaun Hagan, DeWayne Legg, Bryson Legg, Xzavion Legg, Princess Unique Bell, Prince Elijah Bell, DeShara Green, Robin Green, Destiny Palmer, Keylan Howard, Javon Burton, Desirae Hallfrisch, and Lindsey Renee Estes; his Grandfather, “GDad” Ralph Carter; his grandmother, “Nan Nan” Marilyn T Hagan; his uncles, Robbin “Cuba” Hagan (Erica) and Dwight Gamble; his aunts, Voletta Burroughs, Nicola Douglas, April Olinger, Brandy Stafford Wright, and Felicia Samuel; his cousins, Kamdyn Hagan, Keiara Hagan, Kabella Hagan, and D’Korion Connerly; and many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory, on Monday, January 22, 2024. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to the time of service on Monday, January 22, 2024.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of legacy donations to his Taeron’s daughter, Emoniey. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
