Louise Ahlert, 93, formerly of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. She was born on February 15, 1930 in Paradise, Kentucky to the late Earl & Ruby Robinson. She was a member of Owensboro Christian Church. Louise enjoyed visiting with her family and friends, dancing to her favorite songs, and traveling throughout the United States.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur D. Ahlert in 2016 and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Debra Brookhart (Curt) and Tammy Ahlert; sons, Richie Ahlert (Anne) and Rickie Ahlert; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence Robinson; sisters, June Karner, Geneva Rowe, Norma Robinson, Ruthie Dobbs, Dottie Shoemaker, and Freida Watkens; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at noon on Friday, January 19, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. on Friday Walnut Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, Indiana. Visitation is 10 a.m. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
