
Eva Mae Booth, 90, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation. She was born August 16, 1933 in Bremen to the late Wilford and Ethel Decker Flener. Eva was a member of Bridgepointe Church, a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a longtime member of Ridgewood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Booth; sisters, Wilma Jean Flener, Sylvia Louella Fortney, Wanda Roach; grandchild, Joseph Harney; and a great-grandchild, Caelynn Brown.
Survivors include three daughters, Daronda Kay Booth, Gay Ann Harney (Kim) and Dia Booth Ling (Stefan); six grandchildren, Jaclyn Wells (Chad), Christopher Harney (Megan), Nick Harney, Whitney Brown (Dustin), Eva Rhea (Gary), and Samuel Ling; 11great-grandchildren, Aaron French (Trinity), Aiden Wells, Addison Wells, Luke Harney, Kate Harney, Paige Harney, Jace Harney, Jack Harney, Jackson Brown, Luna Rhea and Lindie Rhea; sister, Flora Fortney; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
