Nicholle Lynn Haynes, 43, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from injuries resulting from an automobile accident. Born in Newport News, VA, on May 14, 1980, she is the daughter of Craig A. and Alisa Dupin Smith. Nicholle worked at the Wee People Daycare; rather, her calling was to be at Wee People. Nicholle absolutely adored working with children and she has touched many lives in her work at Wee People. She was a truly selfless person and loved spending time with her children, grandson, and other family members.
Surviving are her husband of 5 years, Steven Daniel Haynes; children, Aleesa (Anthony) Sowders, Johnny (Katelyn) Winters, II, Emily Haynes, and Noah Haynes; her grandson, Luka Carter; her parents, Craig and Alisa Smith; sister, Trish Smith; a brother, Steven (Anna) Smith; her father-in-law, Danny Haynes; sisters-in-law, Josie Rhineburger and Tammy Hickey; life-long friends, Micheala, Angie, Mrs. “B”, Ludy, the Collins girls, and the Blair Group; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Services will be private, with care entrusted to Cardinal Cremation Society.
