William Cager Smith, age 93 of Custer, KY passed away January 5, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Sample, KY on July 31, 1930, son of the late Paul and Annie Dowell Smith. Cager retired from Bussman Fuse Company, He spent his retirement years farming, watching westerns and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Hettie Smith and several siblings.
Cager is survived by his son Danny Smith of Custer, KY
granddaughter and her son: Terri Smith and Dante Smith
sister: Dorothy Early (Marvin) of Stephensport, KY
Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 9 – 11 AM. Burial will be in the Custer Cemetery.
